Glass Door FAQs
What is a frameless glass door?
A 10–12 mm tempered glass panel mounted with patch fittings or pivot hinges, with no aluminium frame around the panel. The handle attaches directly to the glass.
Are glass doors safe?
Yes. We use only tempered safety glass, which is 4–5 times stronger than annealed glass and breaks into small blunt fragments. For high-traffic areas we recommend laminated glass.
Can glass doors be locked?
Yes — floor sockets, patch locks, magnetic locks, push-pad locks and mortice locks are all options.
How long does installation take?
Single frameless doors: 7–10 working days from measurement. Automatic doors take longer due to motor commissioning.
